Experience and learn the sport of Practical Shooting.
If you’ve never tried practical shooting, we’ll show you how the game is played. Or if you have a few matches under your belt and want to learn more, we’ll suggest ways you can improve on your skills.
We’ll cover:
- Stance
- Proper grip
- Efficient draw
- One-handed shooting (stance, etc.)
- Tips on planning how to address a stage
- Shooting while moving
- Efficient magazine changes
- Understanding the rules
- Understanding the divisions
- Why classifiers are shot
- Where to find matches
- How to join USPSA
We’ll start in the classroom and then finish off with shooting practice. We’ll be offering one-on-one suggestions for improvement. Please bring a 9mm or larger caliber handgun and 100-150 rounds. You will also need a holster that covers the trigger guard, as well as 2 magazines and a magazine pouch (or more if
you have them) for this class.
This is a fun, family, social sport where you’ll meet truly friendly, helpful people while improving your skills.
The class is open to men, women, and kids over 12 who follow safe firearm handling. If you can’t make it at 5:00, come when you can up to 8:00.
We’ll be there to help.
